History & Mentions

§ Interactions
Session 52 With most of their preparations made, Halfbie, Mordecai and Drache found Viktor and Aidan and walked them through the plans as they walked through Blackwall to make any last-minute purchases. Halfbie bought themselves a winter coat so they wouldn't freeze in the northern climate. Viktor mentioned he needed to pick up some ingredients for medicines and potions and told the rest to wait for him in the black tower.
Session 50 The party quickly rushed to the balcony; however, before they even got through the corridor, they could see an abnormal amount of light flooding through the windows. Getting to the ledge, they tried their best to look out but were only greeted with pain as if they were trying to look at the sun at noon. Before them was a magnificent barrier made from light that encompassed the whole Blackwall. All of the party reacted differently to the barrier: Drache seemed to be fine, just struggling with the bright light Korrigan and Mordecai felt a slight burning sensation Halfbie felt a strange pit in their stomach as if they were nervous
Session 50 Seraphine nodded for him to continue, "We're currently in a place called Blackwall, are you aware of what is happening there at the moment?"
Session 50 When we were fighting at the Blackwall, and you died?" Viktor nodded. In my head, I had Seifer telling me to let it in, and I can't help but wonder if I had, no one would have died. I could have helped, and I didn't. " There was a pause before they continued. "I feel like a coward, and I don't know if I've done the right thing."
Session 49 Not everyone was convinced, but they all agreed that the plan had some merit. Regardless, Viktor pointed out that they should also hold a meeting to ask the nation what they wanted to do with the OFC, something everyone agreed on. The delegation decided to invite everyone in the nation to Blackwall in two days to discuss the nation's future.
Session 49 You speak for a town of Blackwall?
Session 48 Everyone fell silent as Hgalfbie pushed everyone to move. They opened a small notebook branded with 'Ye olde pub down the road' and listed off their to-do list and what they needed to do. They all decided that instead of leaving Blackwall, they should probably figure out what was happening with the rebels. Mordecai explained that they knew where the rebel base was and that they even had the secret key, so it would be best to go in and try to solve everything diplomatically.
Session 48 The party could not believe what they were hearing, and Halfbie suggested that it could be Ebis Daro impersonating her. The leader told them that his group would not stop until all the towns in the land were free to elect their own leaders. Among those leaders, the ruler of the territory would be chosen. He even said that Blackwall could remain under the party's control as long as the others were free.
Session 48 When the leader returned, the party told him their plan. He laughed, but before he could do anything, Viktor cast Charm Person on the leader and asked him to explain his true intentions in Blackwall. The leader laughed manically and explained that the true purpose of the plan was to destabilise the OFC to aid the Ashen Cult. The leader then explained that his original plan was to blow everyone up and enjoy doing it. The laughter was crazed, and the leader's body began to glow with brilliant light. Before they could react, the leader exploded. Raident and fire magic burst from the man's body, slamming the party against the wall, killing, burning, or destroying everyone and everything around them.
Session 48 They stood on the streets of Blackwall, panting for breath. The hut they were in was a blaze, and survivors poured water out. In their heads, Mordecai heard Seifer say that the explosion was weak. To which Mordecai apologised, saying that they should have trusted Seifer's warnings "Next time, Mordecai, we kill them all, then they can't hurt your friends"
Session 46 Halfbie began to explain the location of the Blackwall to the Dwarf, but he soon revealed that the Dwarfs originally named it Blackwall, and he knew exactly where to go. Halfbie sheepishly remarked on how weird it was that none had wanted to change this name, but Ruldrim countered by saying it was the most remarkable thing about the place, and you didn't want to advertise the riches that lay within. They all nodded with understanding, as the tob began to shift once again back to the OFC.
Session 40 Halfbie, seeing an opportunity to get the black tower's gold back, explained that there was some fighting and Automaton needed to meet them at Blackwall. The Automaton didn't recognise the name, so Halfbie had to explain where they needed to go with directions. Once the Automaton understood. It and every other Automaton began marching to Blackwall. Halfbie quickly stuck a note on one addressed to Steve Ulan explaining all of this and to wait for them to get back to start trying the gold back.
Session 34 Next, the man with the Warhammer was called to the stand. He recounted the attack by the possessed Aiden Knight in Blackwall, with each sentence sounding like another nail in the coffin of Aiden's fate. The faces of the jury grew increasingly glum.
Session 33 Kal The Korrigan †, who was nearly in tears at this point, said that they could go to Blackwall and open the shop there. Mordecai insisted that Halfbie didn't have Cancer, which only convinced them that they had "Death Disease". Mordecai was about to say something else, but Korrigan stepped in, saying that he had a way to make Halfbie feel better. They said they would be more than happy to have a distraction, and korrigan teleported both of them to the Feywild. Korrigan waited in the Temple of Lorwyn while Halfbie found themselves in front of the familiar wooden shake in The Shifting Forest. They tentatively approached and knocked on the door, and the beautiful Eladrin they once knew was now very old, she instantly recognised them and invited them in. Halfbie said that they said they would return before asking what their name was they now realise they never got it when they were last here. She laughed before introducing herself as Jessamine †.
Session 33 Returning to The Party, Korrigan explained everything to them, and with little else they could do, they decided to head for Blackwall and see if they could find her along the way. They finally left Strixhaven and had an extremely good time. Along the way, they heard some strange singing; Korrigan sent Bobs to investigate and learnt that it seemed like people were dancing around a fire. Korrigan sarcastically asked if they should say hi, to which Mordecai sarcastically replied that they should. Missing the sarcasm, Halfbie says "OK!" before running over to say hi before the others could stop them.
Session 32 As they were about to leave Mordecai noticed something: Obeus Yelris was missing. as they turned back to the portal they watched in horror as the portal closed with obeus still inside the headmaster's room. With nothing else to do they decide to write a note and have it sent to Obeus Yelris to tell her they're not mad and they could meet them at the local tavern or at Blackwall. With that they went to the mail room which was located in the teleportation area of the university.
Session 26 They all decided that their best bet would be to go to Baytown and hire a boat to cross the waters to the island. There was briefly a discussion to go see Terence Witherfeather, who could probably just teleport them there, but it was deemed too much of a risk to make the long journey back to Blackwall to find he couldn't.
Session 26 The Party are getting ready to leave Blackwall, Wurinn Fuuldrusch decides it would be best for him to scout the area out ahead of time and to meet him in Yakawa when they can make it. The group decided on their travel plans for the next few days and decided it would be best to check out The All-Father Temple since it is on the way and could have a lot of information about the Gods and Terathra. Since they have to go through Whitespire, they should also take some time to investigate The Pyramid that was summoned during The War for the OFC's Freedom. They also say that if they have the time, they would want to check out Dawnhaven to look into the strange disappearance of Galen Verix ‡. Kal The Korrigan † also suggests walking along the Verdant Spine when they travel down to the Uvam Dynasty so they can further investigate the Wyvern Cave if they're not in a rush. They head off pretty soon after this and have a very good time.
Session 25 For the last few days, Aiden Knight has been travelling back to Blackwall to retrieve the horse and cart. However, as soon as he got to the stables time suddenly started to slow down until it completely halted leaving Aidan in an unmoving world. It was a very similar experience to the last time when he had to go to The Tulan Fort, the only difference was that this time there was a black mist that seemed to follow the road out of the OFC. With little else to do, he followed it, the mist took him into The Dawn Empire and to a fork in the road, one way would take him to Dawnhaven and the other would take him to Farpost the trail of mist seemed to want to to take him to Farpost. The thought of having to deal with something sinister alone terrified him so he opted to go to Dawnhaven and meet up with the rest of The Party.
Session 23 Xekai's purple portal opens just outside of Yakawa, and off in the distance they can see Wurinn Fuuldrusch drawing in the mud with a stick as he waits for them. Aiden Knight decides not to go through the portal, instead opting to travel to 'Blackwall to cure his Mummy Rot at the Temple of Seraphina and ensure the horse and carriage are safe. Drache rushes up to meet them and exclaims that they look like shit and that he only left them for a few days. Mordecai Reverence runs up to meet him gives him a massive hug and starts to explain the events of the last few days with Steve Ulan's cult in Silkhorn, The All-Father Temple and The Pyramid. Drache is shocked that they attempted the Pyramid without him, but Kal The Korrigan † explains that it was necessary as the Mummy Lord was becoming more active. He also asked if he got the message he sent with Animals Messenger about their plans, but Drache has no recollection of ever receiving the message.
Session 23 Aidan had decided to not separate from the group and go to the Temple of Seraphina to cure his Mummy Rot. Having received his healing he felt more powerful than ever and felt that if he raised his hands at that very moment, then something big would happen. As he did so the world around him slowed to a halt, as a cruel God's laughter could be heard echoing in his head. No matter what he tried, time was stuck in this state of sinful silence. With little else to do, he began to wonder. The once familiar and vibrant world around him was now a shadow of itself, cold and unmoving. Eventually, he found his way to the wear the party had left the horse and carriage and moved them to a safe place in Blackwall then wondered to what he hoped was Yakawa. When all was said and done, Aidan had spent nearly a week wondering this wasteland alone desperate to hear anything that wasn't the laughter of his cruel patron. Eventually, he found the fort where he discovered Korrigan stuck motionless on the path. As he looked upon his party member, the world slowly started to spin again as time resumed its march forward.
Session 23 As he approaches her she tells him to be quiet as people are approaching. From their vantage point, they can see a guard walking a prisoner down to their location. Chenris is dumbfounded when he recognises Aidan as the prisoner because as far as he was aware, the rogue was in Blackwall still. He is unable to ascertain the identity of the guard, however. As they get closer, Aidan spots Chenris and Obeus hiding and motions that everything is ok.
Session 20 The Party are getting ready to leave Blackwall, Wurinn Fuuldrusch decides it would be best for him to scout the area out ahead of time and to meet him in Yakawa when they can make it.
Session 19 They head straight to Blackwall but on the way, Chenris hears something on the wind. when they listen in more closely they can hear someone is saying "Brainsssss". they also notice there aren't a lot of birds around. There is, however, a dead bird on the floor that had been ripped apart with its brain missing. Drache uses his Detect Good & Evil Feature and finds there are 4 undead beings in the tree above them looking down. They're all Squirrels with one of them having a staff of Necromancy. Korrigan decides to cast Speak With Animals to ask what they're doing. the one with the staff says he is going to use his massive army to rob people of their riches. Hearing this, Mordecai brings out a random broach and tells them that this the most expensive broach in the world.
Session 19 One of the thralls comes down to get the broach, however, Korrigan wont hand it over until he finds out where they got the magic staff from. The thrall gets annoyed and attacks Korrigan. finally they find out that the main squirrel found a weird rock in the tree and managed to make the staff. Korrigan restrains all of the squirrels with the entangle spell and chenris grabs that squirrel with mage hand and takes the staff away. with the situation resolved, they carry on to Blackwall and managed to make the journey in about a day.
Session 19 Chenris finds a book in the forbidden section about the castle and how it built. The book explains that Blackwall is apart of the old Dwarven Empire and the black castle was built by Dwarves. When they were under siege by humans, they created a escape tunnels throughout the castle so they could survive and escape if needed. It was sealed when the humans took over. The book also contains a map of the tunnels, interestingly there is no original way to get to what is now known as the vault but there is a way to the beach. It is at this moment when they hear the other group calling them and they rush over to explain their discoveries.
Session 12 As The Party were leaving Blackwall a member of the Goblin Mafia tries to assassinate Mordecai. The attempt actually succeeded, however, Chronovorus intervened and gave Aidan Knight a choice of allowing this future to happen or to take a deal with him, Aidan took the deal making the attempt fail. Drache and Korrigan start chasing after the goblin. Korrigan had casted Longstrider on Drache so he is able to catch up very quickly with the goblin. It take a Cyanid pill before the group could get much information out of it
Session 10 Chenris are currently own on the streets of Steelwick distracting the guards as they see this massive black dragon fly to the castle. The guards all now approach the castle to investigate the dragon as it come down to pick up the two of them. Mordecai Messages Chenris not to panic as they’re about to be grabbed by a dragon. Riding on the dragon, the party get flown all the way to the OFC where they find Xekai and the city of Blackwall battle ready with Genevieve † coordinating everything. when the party arrive, Goblin Mafia are trying to strike a deal with Genevieve † for troupes in return for access to steelwick.
Session 02 The party with the few remaining soldiers escorted Caden's dead body back to Blackwall but had to rest on the way, Kal and chenris were on watch but mysteriously fell asleep which was strange for chenris due to his elven lineage. When they woke up, Caden was alive and well but acting very strange. They try and investigate why and discovered someone came onto the camp and must of revived him , they arrived at Blackwall and rushed to the council building to alert the council of this, the party alert the council in the council chamber, Cayden burst into the room with a legion of dawn soldiers and tries to convince the party to join the dawn empire, the party refuses as the believe the OFC embodies freedom and they do not respect the racist ideals of the Dawn. The party fights Cayden and kill him again, they try and remove the body from the council building discretely but the body disappears as soon as their back is turned.
Session 00 The party then travelled to Blackwall, a sprawling city dominated by the imposing Black Tower. They split up, with Chenris, Mordecai, and Aiden seeking answers in the tower’s grand library while Kal and Drache delivered a mysterious package from Foxtail Orchard. Chenris uncovered information about the Ethertwist Haunter, a herald of Chronovorus with the power to manipulate time and erase memories. Meanwhile, Kal fell victim to a goblin trap and was turned into a magically compelled suicide bomber. With no way to stop Kal’s march toward the Black Tower, Chronovorus himself appeared, offering to resolve the crisis for 25 years of their lives.
Session 00 Chenris rejected the offer and disappeared, finding himself in the presence of Aeloria, the Goddess of Light and Knowledge. She offered him the means to dispel the ancient goblin magic in exchange for a portion of his magical abilities. Accepting the deal, Chenris returned to Blackwall, dispelling the magic and saving Kal. Chronovorus, amused and intrigued by the group, warned them that the cost of retrieving the missing child would rise with each passing day. With their encounter resolved, the party regrouped, the weight of Chenris’ decision and the looming threat of the gods shaping their next steps as they prepared to delve deeper into their perilous journey.
Session 00 The shadow of the Ethertwist Haunter loomed over the party like a smothering shroud, warping reality with its chilling presence. Guided by whispers in Blackwall, the group uncovered a lead pointing to an abandoned tower east of the city. Upon arrival, they found its twisted architecture teeming with lifeless thralls carrying out gruesome rituals. Using stealth and wit, they infiltrated the tower, but a mishap alerted the guards. Mordecai, in a desperate gambit, disguised himself as a cultist, but the ruse backfired, leading to both him and Aiden being captured. Within the tower’s upper chamber, the cult leader attempted to use Aiden as a sacrifice to the Temporal Harbinger, but Aiden’s immunity to the ritual’s effects allowed him to resist.
