Overview
The home nation of the Elves, it is currently led by The Empress, Obeus Yelris. Obeus came into the role after her motherAshira Yelris † died.
Society
The Nation's Capital
Ishnmel is the capital city of Ehobel. It was previously Renabel, but it was moved sometime after The Sundering when The Tower of Ishnmel was constructed.
Attitudes
Many of the Elves are known for having superiority complexes. They often look down on other species, seeing them as a mix of unclean, poor, Inferior, or short-lived.
They often use slavery to make their lives easier, so they don't have to do any hard work. Many of their towns and cities are built like beach resorts or have many amenities that would usually be reserved for the ultra-wealthy of other nations.
Diplomatic & Trade Relations
Ehobel and The Dawn Empire have a significantly strained relationship because they are constantly at war. The exact reasons for these wars are unknown, but The Party theorises that they could be caused by The Dawn Empire's Emperor, Galen Verix ‡, having once been in love with the previous empress, Ashira Yelris.
Ehobel trades heavily with the Uvam Dynasty. The two nations are connected by the Goldpass Bridge, making Nas Anor and Yokotori large trading towns.
Due to The Party being good friends with Obeus, relations between the OFC are excellent, with her promising to help the OFC if they ever needed it.
History
The Sundering
Ehobel was one of the major groups that participated in the Sundering as a member of The Coalition, supplying foot soldiers, mages, and scholars.
The Towers
After the Sundering, Niaross † flew to Ehobel and helped construct the tower of Ishnmel. Ishnmel was then built around the tower to protect it from The Ashen Cult and similar groups. It was then made the capital shortly after.
Wars with The Dawn Empire
At least four wars have occurred between the two empires, with the 4th Dawn vs Ehobel War taking place as little as weeks before the start of the campaign. These wars also led to the creation of the OFC due to The Dawn's unwillingness to defend that land after one of the wars.

| Session 49 | Viktor pulled out a map and asked which nations The Party had no evil enemies with, suggesting the golden fleet was a potential and untapped revenue source. Halfbie said they probably would want to work with The Party after they flew into the sky and rained fireballs on their ships. Mordecai pointed to Uvam, saying they could be ok depending on the town. Ehobel was unknown at this point; the Dawn are so uneatable that it's hard to tell if they would trade with the OFC. Viktor pointed to Lost Haven, stating they were probably too unstable. |
| Session 48 | The leader explained that peace was not an option, and they were fighting so the OFC would be free again and allowed to operate however they pleased. Notably, he used Ehobels' system of governance as an example of what they wanted to do in the OFC. After further prodding, it was revealed that the leader, although not Elven himself, was part of Ehobel and was sent to the OFC by command of Empress Obeus Yelris. |
| Session 48 | The leader and his guards all left to give the party time to consider the offer. The party was suspicious of the leader, mainly because he was a spy from Ehobel and couldn't be trusted to keep his word. They decided to put some safeguards in place. Halfbie cast Glyph of warding and made it explode if anyone in the room decided to go back on the deal of peace they brokered today. |
| Session 43 | She told Chenris that she preferred to buy her slaves from Ehobel, where, coincidentally, there had been a recent uprising [1], which could prove to be a good investment opportunity. Chenris thanked them for the advice, offering them 10% of the profits made from the opportunity as thanks. He said, “You seem to know a lot about the goings on around here. I heard a rumour in the grapevine that the antimagic field tower was in need of some renovations. You wouldn’t know much about that, would you?! |
| Session 30 | Malin carried on talking, almost losing himself in his own words of doom and gloom. He explained that During the first Sundering, the world had The Auditors, Galen Verix ‡, and other strong warriors, like Caden SteelBreaker †. Now, most of those warriors are dead and missing. The Dawn Empire is fractured, and Ehobel has lost its most powerful Wizard queen, Ashira Yelris. Strixhaven, although still a strong faction, is nowhere near the same strength as before, with its renewed focus on research during times of peace. Tulan Fort is in shambles, and The Emerald Fort is without a leader. |
| Session 30 | Halfbie mentions that they should probably drop off Obeus Yelris in Ehobel before she is gone for too long. Drache wants to check on The Tulan Fort and The Emerald Fort, while Mordecai wants to check up on Yokotori. After checking a few things, Halfbie declares that Strixhaven is currently docked south of Twopines Estate, so it might be worth going there as they might have some more information. Drache jokingly dubs this the Tour De Ashen plan, and they quietly cheer for their new plan. |
| Session 30 | Passion Dustwood, The Party encountered two men in incredibly fashionable and interesting clothing [^1]. The two men have a lunch caravan with huge piles of colourful silk. The men stop and proudly ask if The Party would be interested in investing in their futures. Halfbie falls for them and says they would. The men introduce themselves as businessmen for Kearlin Atoll and begin to describe the concept of silk to them. Halfbie is quick on the uptake and says they're quite familiar with silk, mostly the fabric made in Ehobel. The men admit that this silk isn't as nice as their Elvin silk, but it is a lot cheaper than the stuff from the Elves. |
| Session 30 | Feeling melancholic, Obeus shared her regret about returning to Ehobel, recognizing it as the right choice but lamenting the end of her journey with The Party. Halfbie attempted to uplift her spirits by assuring her that they would remain friends and visit her, potentially taking her on smaller adventures. After wiping away a tear, Obeus shifted the conversation to Halfbie's perspective on the journey thus far. |
| Session 29 | Anxious for answers, Mordecai stormed into Aeloria’s worship room, practically pulling Halfbie by the scruff of their neck. Seeing the same orb as before, their voice came out more like a demand than the question they had intended. They requested to know more about what was happening with Halfbie and whether it was possible to dispose of Seifer. The orb considered for a moment before revealing that they were more than happy to share this information, but it would come at a cost. The orb was willing to trade the information Mordecai sought in exchange for their knowledge that Obeus was the Empress of Ehobel. The orb clarified that this would affect the entire party. Mordecai was uncertain if this was a deal they could make on behalf of the whole group and asked if they could wait for the others to return and consult them for their opinions. Mordecai also felt concerned that if they forgot about this, they might not take her back to Ehobel. |
| Session 26 | Suddenly, korrigan begins to cry as he reminisces and mentions the gecko they had met in Ehobel called Mannnnnn †. Mordecai quickly figures out that korrigan is probably putting his grief on the gecko instead of Chenris. Korrigan then Wild Shapes into a gecko and keeps crying as Mordecai tentatively puts him on their shoulder. Halfbie is enamoured by this ability and excitedly asks what else people can do. Mordecai unenthusiastically says they can use magic, while Aidan says he is good at sneaking. Obeus Yelris says that she can also cast magic but not much else. Mordecai interjects, saying that obeus is much more than a magic caster and is the Empress of Ehobel. She blushes slightly as she confirms this to Halfbie, who thinks that's amazing and gives a polite bow that she brushes off. |
| Session 26 | Mordecai and Chenris decide to see what the priest of Ignatius is like. This room is full of fire brazers, torches and other flame iconography. They find the priest waiting for them and gives them a warm greeting. Mordecai asks if he sees many visitors. He explains that he doesn't get a lot from The Dawn Empire but he does get a handful from Ehobel, the OFC. Uvam Dynasty, the islands to the northeast and lot from The Desert. He assumes The Sundering is a bit too fresh in the minds of the humans. |
| Session 25 | They are all still hesitant and the man sighs saying that they have gotten off on the wrong foot as he uses magic to force them to walk with him to the dining room. Drache isn't affected by the magic due to Korrigan's spell from earlier but joins anyway just in case it can help them get a one-up on the man. They're seated in an elaborate dining room, presumably where Galen would entertain his guests. Skeletons serve them delicious-looking food and nice alcohol. The party are distrustful of the food until Chenris picks up his glass of wine and gives it a taste. It isn't poisoned thankfully and although it was probably the best wine the Dawn good offer it was nowhere near as good as the wine made in Ehobel. The rest of the party watched in shock at how easily Chenris risked his life to try the wine. With a frown, Chenris states that it isn't poisoned but taste leads much to be desired. The masked man snorts exclaiming if he wanted them dead then he would have done so ages ago. Chenris leans back in his chair comfortably as he sips the wine. |
| Session 25 | Mordecai asks Obeus Yelris what she thinks about all of this. She admits that she is unsure since nothing like this has ever happened in Ehobel. She is mainly focused on completing their task so they can get away with their lives. As they walked down the path they encountered a small room with animated skeletons roaming around it and a note on a nearby table. Chenris used a mage hand to grab it. It read as follows: |
| Session 24 | Korrigan pulls out the map and asks where they should be going. Chenris suggest going to Itone Isles and stopping by Dawnhaven to see what happened to Galen Verix ‡. Korrigan suggests we also go to Wyvern Cave since it's on the way to Dawnhaven. Mordecai asks Obeus Yelris if she has anywhere she wants to go, but she says she doesn't have anywhere she specifically wants to go, but she should probably return to Ehobel soon, her people probably already think she's dead or kidnapped, although she mentions that she wants to see Itone before going home. Fearing the worst, Mordecai asks how they would pick a new emperor. She explains that one of the lords would be elected into power but that it would take at least 30 years to pick a new ruler, Chenris is surprised, asking, "That quickly?" |
| Session 21 | While discussing Aidan's fear of the deity, Korrigan mentions Aidan's possession in Ehobel. Upon hearing this, the priest perks up and says he knowns all about that incident and therefore knows Aidan very well and applauds him for a job well done. Pissed off, Korrigan asks what he means by that. The priest elaborates and says that Aidan did what his god wanted him to do, which is something to congratulate him on. Korrigan turns on his heels and grabs Aidan to leave, as they are Aidan shouts "WHAT AM I?!". The priest isn't sure but if had to guess he would say "You're Chronovorus' - you belong to him". Aidan starts to cry at this revelation and the priest says "i'd be careful around Whitespire if i were you". This stops Korrigan in his tracks and asks him what does he mean. The priest elaborates that "Well, you caused one tower to fall, i'm sure he would like to see another fall". korri exclaims "SO WOULD LORWYN" and leaves just before the priest calls Lorwyn a feckless bastard. Being dragged out, Aidan's last view of the priest is distorted and his face is replaced by a big black smile of Chronovorus. |
| Session 20 | Mordecai and Chenris decide to see what the priest of Ignatius is like. |
| Session 19 | Very concerned with morality of the situation, Mordecai and Drache try to explain that 1. you should just kill people when they do bad things, 2. how do make sue he other races are safe in the locked rooms. 3. are people being treated fairly. 4. The Party are not Gods and they make mistakes which people wont take kindly to. Chenris ends up commenting that the method clearly works it just needs to be tweaked to be more…humane. None the less they congratulate Steve on doing a good job with chenris saying they will come back and find away to regulate this operation and maybe invest money into it. He also ask how Keith Horrigan is doing and Steve says he had disappeared about a week ago (The Party had been gone for 2-3 weeks in Ehobel). as The Party leave to investigate he wishes them good luck. |
| Session 12 | After the events of The War for the OFC's Freedom, Wurinn 'Drache' Fuuldrusch lost the use of his leg, leading to Korrigan creating a new one for him using his Druid abilities. It was at this point that party present their OFC Plans, they give all of them to a representative call Keith Horrigan who explains that the OFC has no money for any of the plans. This lead the group decide to travel to other nations to establish trade relationships, they decide to start with Ehobel since the enemy of enemy is my friend. The Party temporally puts Keith in charge while The Party were away. Chenris tries to intimate him but fails because the guy is so confident that it doesn't work. The Party leave Steve Ulan to watch him for them. |
| Session 12 | The Party regroups with drache and Korrigan, chenris finding out that the Goblin Mafia have put out a hit on The Party because the goblins blame the group for their invasion of Steelwick not going very well. They leave for Silkhorn as soon as possible and make the illegal crossing route legal so its ok. There's now a small cult that's popped up in Silkhorn lead by Azel †. He has capitalised on the hatred of the other races and used that to gather people to follow him. The Party infiltrate his church where they find out he has been kind with people and offered them food while preaching about hatred, which is how he has gathered so many followers. This makes The Party very concerned and they send a messenger to Steve Ulan to investigate into the cult in their absence. They find the person who crosses the water and get in the boat and head for Ehobel. |
| Session 06 | The Party first met him when summoned them through employing Xekai and The Auditors, who he seems to have a long connection with. Verix, learning of the parties newfound leadership over the OFC invited them over to tell them that he was going to walk into the OFC and to accept his arrival or die trying to stop him. After some questions, it was eventually revealed he wanted the are because due to its strategic importance in the fight against Ehobel as well as it access to the seas. |
| Session 06 | Chenris Tallfellow ‡, initially suggested that the people of the OFC could leave and find another place to call home, however, Galen Verix ‡ hated this idea due to potential uprising that could happen in the future - which he absolutely couldn't allow. After some pondering, Chenris suggested that using The Emperor’s propaganda team to make the emperor sound merciful like here cares for the people of the OFC. Suggesting that they could say that Ehobel might have plans to invade the area due to it strategic importance in war. The emperor could then move these people to location that he has better ability to control/ gather Intel on the people. He seemed pleased with this idea and allowed The Party to leave, saying his people would be in touch. |
