Feywild
Overview
The Feywild was a place of unrestrained and awe-inspiring natural beauty. The plane is always bathed in twilight of the setting (or perhaps rising) sun, with lanterns and fireflies providing additional, haunting lights.
Visitors to the plane found that all sensations, both sensory and emotional, were heightened. Smells were stronger, colours were more vivid, and sounds were clearer, but at the same time shadows were darker and impulses were harder to control. Strong emotions even altered the landscape of the Feywild itself, wilting flowers trailed the despondent or furious and carefree animals travelled alongside chipper and cheerful individuals.
Kal The Korrigan † seems to be able to travel to and from this place whenever he pleases.
Description taken from The Feywild Wiki and subject to change.
The party currently does not know a lot about the fey wilds besides Korrigan, the party has had an audience with the Seelie Court and seen the Temple of Lorwyn

| Session 46 | At that, another wild purple portal opened beside her, outstepping a warped, wicked version of Korrigan. His eyes were glowing purple orbs with no whites or pupils. His hair was long and overgrown, and the interlace grew wild like a moose that had grown old. He outstretched his hand, which misty took and guided her into the feywilds. |
| Session 37 | "yeah yeah, im a crude copy of my past self. I can take you to the Feywild; that should help clear up a few things." said Korrigan |
| Session 37 | Before the rest of the party could firmly reject the idea based on past experiences, Sylvia agreed with a smirk, and they both disappeared. When Sylvia opened her eyes, she found herself in a quiet part of a meadow where he once made his deal with Lorwyn. He invited her to sit down and admire the view of the Feywilds. She sat down, amazed by its untamed beauty. After a few moments, she turned to him, and with a coy smile, she asked, "We're you really that desperate to get some alone time with me?" |
| Session 37 | They soon returned to the human realm, where Sylvia began to breathe heavily to try and make it look like they had been having sex while in the Feywilds. This made everyone laugh, leaving Halfbie confused and asking if they had gone on a long run or something. Much to the other amusement and pity |
| Session 37 | "Is there like a 400-meter running track in the Feywilds or something?" questioned a very confused Halfbie |
| Session 34 | He crumpled to the floor in a state of shock and panic. Mordecai remarked that it might be beneficial for him to explain his experiences in the Feywild. He sat perched on a nearby step and began to recount his time in the Feywild, revealing that what he thought had been days was merely a matter of moments for the rest of the party. |
| Session 33 | Kal The Korrigan †, who was nearly in tears at this point, said that they could go to Blackwall and open the shop there. Mordecai insisted that Halfbie didn't have Cancer, which only convinced them that they had "Death Disease". Mordecai was about to say something else, but Korrigan stepped in, saying that he had a way to make Halfbie feel better. They said they would be more than happy to have a distraction, and korrigan teleported both of them to the Feywild. Korrigan waited in the Temple of Lorwyn while Halfbie found themselves in front of the familiar wooden shake in The Shifting Forest. They tentatively approached and knocked on the door, and the beautiful Eladrin they once knew was now very old, she instantly recognised them and invited them in. Halfbie said that they said they would return before asking what their name was they now realise they never got it when they were last here. She laughed before introducing herself as Jessamine †. |
| Session 33 | Walking into the hut, Halfbie was greeted with a wave of memories returning to them of their last time in the Feywild. These memories were joined by the familiar scent of chicken noodle soup, and before Halfbie could process the memory, they asked if they could have a bowl of it. Jessamine laughed before giving them a large bowl of the soup. they gratefully accepted and tucked in. Unfortunately, the soup wasn't as nice as they had remembered [^3], prompting them to ask if she had changed the recipe. She hadn't. |
| Session 33 | They continued their work as Jessamine † returned inside. before they got out of earshot, halfbie explained that they would find a way to elevate their back pain so they would have an easier time. She thanked him before returning inside. Soon, hours turned into days, then days into weeks and over time, Halfbie became much more enthusiastic about the chicken noodle soup again, as it was one of the few nutritious meals Jessamine † could make in the Feywild. |
| Session 33 | They spent a long time together as they spent their days peacefully working the farm and animals. One day, she asked them why they returned to her cabin after waiting for so long. Halfbie explained that they weren't in the Feywild, and time seemed to floor differently here. for them, it has been a week at most. they also explained how they had caught a disease called the death disease, and they wanted to re-tune and say a proper goodbye. Jessamine † commented on how death did come for them all [^4]. |
| Session 33 | With nothing left in the Feywild, they left the hut and set the animals free. They walked through The Shifting Forest for 500 years before finding Kal The Korrigan † again. For him, it had only been a few hours, and he was enjoying his own chicken noodle soup. Halfbies approached, their youth returning as they walked closer to their friend. korrigan asked if they were ok, to which halfbie explained their experience with Jessamine † and 500 of walking. When hearing how long they had been walking, they exclaimed that this was good as the death disease hadn't killed them yet. |
| Session 33 | They explained that they were holding a funeral for their friend Karnal, who had recently been killed by an orc called Wartooth. Karnal had been everywhere in The Amber Realms, "from Fort Moldan to Ember Peak and the Broken Ember Throne," impressing everyone. they then revealed that Karnal had been involved in many of the world's recent events, including The War for the OFC's Freedom, and even joined the hunt for a missing Tiefling in the Uvam Dynasty with the Fruit Cutters[^6]. Seeing that it was getting a bit late, The Party excused themselves, not before promising to get revenge for them if they ever ran into Wartooth on their travels. Before leaving, drache performed a funeral rite for them and sent the Karnal's soul to Feywilds as he felt that this would be the best place for a person who loves adventure. |
| Session 32 | Mordecai looked to the ghost of Seifer Willow ‡ on their shoulder, sarcastically remarking how it was nice to put a face to the name finally. She shrugged before noting how weird it was as they were so used to seeing Mordecai but remaining unseen. Looking over to Halfbie and Chenris, they noticed that Halfbie was beginning to have a mental breakdown. As they looked at Chenris, but before they could do anything, Korrigan fell to the floor, shaking violently. Mordecai rushed over to help him, but after a few moments, the shaking stopped. Halfbie looked at Korrigan from across the room and realised that without Lorwyn's influence, there was probably nothing stopping his memories from resurfacing, that his body was dependent on the Feywilds and that being cut off was having bad side effects. As Korrigan lay in Mordecai's arms in a daze before suddenly snapping back to consciousness. he exclaimed that he needed a sword. Confused by their question why, Korrigan replied with anger none of The Party had ever seen before, "I need to kill the king, the king of Lost Haven". |
| Session 30 | Drache tried to calm him down and told him to start from the beginning and explain how their Misty Step works. After a few deep breaths, they explained that their version works slightly differently from the more common version. He functions by taking him through the Feywilds before appearing in the spot he wanted. Drache paused for a moment before suggesting that maybe their ability malfunctioned and sent Halfbie to the Feywild with korrigan but left them there. Korrigan filed with his bow for a moment before saying that could be the case as Halfbie would have no way out of the Feywild and so could be trapped. A moment passed for Korrigan's eyes widened in panic as he screamed, "OH MY GOD, HALFBIE IS IN THE FEYWILD!" before teleporting there himself. He landed in his usual spot: outside a golden temple dedicated to Lorwyn. He threw out his magic, searching for this friend and breathed a sigh of relief, and he sensed them moving to them slowly. |
| Session 30 | Halfbie opened their eyes after the teleport, only to find themselves in a dense forest that they instantly recognised as the Feywilds. They checked the crystal to see if the plan at least worked, but in the hand was what looked to be a small rift that seemed to cut the very fabric of reality. Inside, Halfbie could see an inky black void that contained thousands of tiny stars and galaxies. More importantly, there was a weird magical session that sounded like a rift. On further analysis, Halfbie realised in horror that magic was being sucked into the rift. Knowing that if too much magic was absorbed, there could be catastrophic consequences for not just the Feywilds but the universe as a whole. Their worries were soon halted when they realised that the rift was quickly closing, and after a minute, the rift had disappeared. It was as if magic was repairing the rift, and as it wasn't that significant, it was a relatively quick fix. |
| Session 30 | With the rift resolved, Halfbie turned their attention to their next problem: how they were going to leave the Feywilds. They were anxious to leave, as they were well aware of the dangers of these lands. They recognised the general area but weren't sure they knew exactly where they were. They decided to pick a direction and walk; theoretically, they should run into someone or some settlement at some point. Travelling through the Feywilds, they managed to stay safe through clever spellwork and ingenuity, surviving on berries or whatever animals they could hunt. The animals of the Fey were strange and almost uncanny like they either should exist or some mad scientist fused what they assumed two different animals should be like as the days turned into weeks, into months and months into years. Halfbie's mind began to unravel as they walked around aimlessly in the fairest way that would not stop moving and shifting. It was as if the very ground beneath them breathed, and the trees turned to look whenever they made a sound. |
| Session 30 | When they returned, The Party rushed to greet Halfbie, who explained his experience to them. Drache asked if the crystal vanished when they arrived at the Feywild, as he didn't see it on them. Halfbie couldn't remember, so he flicked back through their notebook and was delighted to see they had kept a journal for the first 15 years. The journal detailed their rift to everyone, and as they read it, the memory came back to them, and they explained the situation in more detail. Drache tries to lighten the mood and asks if they learned anything interesting on their travels, to which Halfbie replies with a massive grin, "Stew and noodles are real goodddd!!". |
| Session 30 | Korrigan, happy that Halfbie was safe, let out a heavy sigh and simply stated that it was good that the rift didn't do too much damage to the Feywilds. They updated Halfbie as they had legitimately forgotten what was happening in the human and that they needed to get out of there. korrigan and drache figured that their best bet would be to just walk right out as the guards saw them walk in with Malin, so they probably wouldn't care if they walked out. they do just that, and the guards don't even bat an eye as they walk up the stairs and into the main library of The All-Father Temple. Korrigan found a nearby table, set a map on it, and said they should plan out their route for the foreseeable future. Korrigan says that he wants OFC since they need to sort out everything there and then end up near Lost Haven as Lorwyn is becoming impatient with him. |
| Session 30 | An awkward silence ensues before Halfbie enthusiastically redirects the conversation to their quest to perfect the ultimate Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe, inspired by their experiences in the Feywild. Aidan listens patiently until it is time for their watch to conclude. Attempting to rouse Mordecai, Aidan finds him resistant to wakefulness, leading Aidan to wake Obeus Yelris, who joins the soup-enthusiast Halfbie for the next watch. |
| Session 29 | Tangy turned to Korrigan, expressing his joy that they had even brought breakfast, looking hungrily at Bit. Korrigan apologised, stating that it wasn't food but merely a companion on their journey. Tangy was disappointed but quickly recovered. They all engaged in friendly conversation until Tangy asked if Drache had ever been to the Feywild and if he would like to go. Drache cautiously explained that it was a place he had never visited before but was interested in going to at some point. He couldn't say anything else before Tangy's mischievous smile returned. "Great!" he exclaimed as he placed his hand on Drache's shoulder before teleporting to the Feywild. |
| Session 29 | Drache suddenly found himself alone in the Feywild. He was surrounded by giant mushrooms that resembled trees more than the food he prepared for dinner whenever Chenris misbehaved. The ground was made of thick marsh that seemed to stretch on forever, and after a few confused, aimless steps, Drache became stuck in the mud, slowly sinking down into a cold death. He struggled for what felt like hours as the mud consumed him bit by bit. First, it took his legs, then his hands, his chest, and his arms, until he was left with nothing but a head on the ground, much like one finds when scavenging a battlefield for scraps and coin. Yet this head screamed for help that would never come. Soon, these screams ceased as the mud took his mouth, filling it with the vile taste of rot and disease. The mud was cold and unfeeling as it robbed the Dragonborn of his sense of smell next. When the mud slowly began to fill his ear canals, Drache had nearly given up and accepted his fate. He was tired, tired of fighting, and just wanted to relax and live a peaceful life with Emmeline. As a burning sensation replaced the air in his lungs, his world went dark as he sank through a void that did not care about his plight. |
| Session 29 | (Halfbie gave them a kind smile before responding, “Well, perhaps you would understand if you actually took the time to know me and… you know, talk to me?” Mordecai was struck into silence as they realised how little they had cared to learn about the individual causing them so much distress. The orb broke the silence by saying they were happy to wait; in fact, they could teleport Drache and Korrigan into the room as soon as they were available. The orb then appeared very confused, looking flustered for the first time as it revealed that it was unsure of where the two were. The orb explained that it had knowledge of all the things that Aeloria knew, yet had no idea where they were, which would have been impossible unless they were in a place beyond Aeloria's control. Mordecai suggested they go to Lorwyn’s room, but the orb revealed that this was still a location it could see. It might make sense if the two were taken to the Feywild. However, that was such a peculiar idea that the orb immediately dismissed it. ) |
| Session 26 | Korrigan looks for the priest for Lorwyn and enters the corresponding portal. It takes him to a place that looks very similar to the Feywilds but isn't. He approaches waiting for the priest to speak first, the priest looks up and immediately says "you have no power over here herald" " He asks the priest if he was sent here directly from Lorwyn and confirms this, Korrigan offers to prey together. |
| Session 26 | Chenris perks up and asks what a soul is. The orb tells him, that every creature has a soul which is a manifestation of that creature's very being. When someone dies their soul goes off to the afterlife, or the like, unless they are brought back to life with magic since it takes some time for the soul to travel off. The orb then says because you promised your soul to the goddess it's not there forever. If you die, there is no coming back. The orb theories that Aidan also can't be revived. chenris should be happy since he gets to research. Most gods don't make a pact like Aeloria. Most Gods allow souls to return with spells like Revivify. He would assume Aidan would go to The Black Woods and Korrigan would eventually return to the Feywild. Chenris asks if he gets special privileges for being a part of The Golden Ones. The orb scoffs and says he gets the privilege to access all of the world's knowledge, for a price of course. Mordecai has gone white with shock while chenris seems ok, he says it's a good thing that he has no intention of dying any time soon, the orb laughs and says he said the same thing when he was alive and now he is here. |
| Session 26 | Halfbie explains that they were never brought up as fey, and neither of their parents was from the Feywild, so they've never said they were. They also seemed unaware that their eyes were purple. Korrigan starts to get frustrated with the whole situation as Halfbie is a complete enigma to him, he snaps out of it when Aidan pipes up, telling him to "calm down Antlers". An irritated Korrigan uses magic to make the journey for Aiden more difficult while the rest laugh at the funny nickname. Mordecai begrudgingly joins Aidan in his calls for people to be nice to Halfbie, reminding korrigan that they were all nice to him when he showed up after Kal † 's death. Korrigan pipes down. |
| Session 20 | Korrigan looks for the priest for Lorwyn and enters the corresponding portal. |
| Session 20 | Chenris perks up and asks what a soul is. The orb tells him, that every creature has a soul which is a manifestation of that creature's very being. Mordecai has gone white with shock while chenris seems ok, he says it's a good thing that he has no intention of dying any time soon, the orb laughs and says he said the same thing when he was alive and now he is here. |
| Session 18 | With Chenris nowhere to be found, the party decide to go on the offensive and try to imagine as many things as they can that they've seen on their adventures. Korrigan especially thinks about all the strange things found in the Feywild. This course the illusion to glitch before Korrigan is put in a black void where he hears "Stop being so annoying, have some time out" Korrigan shouts back to give him chenris back, its not like he could hurt either way. At that moment, Korrigan sees a window showing Chenris talking to a Mysterious Man sat at a large table with a feast with many people pointing bows at chenris, read to kill him at any point. |
| Session 11 | As he enters the room he gives a guard the instructions he wrote earlier and told them to dispatch a small 3 man squad to carry out these instructions and emphasised the importance and swiftness needed to carry out everything to the letter. The guard rushes off and Chenris asks if they came up with any ideas. Korrigan offers that they could go to the Feywild and try to enlist troupes form there as having the might of the fey creatures on their side could be enough turn the tide of the war. Chenris agrees and suggests they should head immediately to broker a deal, then once they have everything inline they will discuss the full war strategy. But before they can all leave Korrigan states there is one last bit of business to attend to. The group confused, ask what the boy means. With a large grin plastered on his face, he gleefully says "Well we can't go to war without knowing who betrayed us, can we?!" and summons Merek. Merek rushes in looking even more terrified than before, asking why he was summoned. Korrigan says "Why it's time to reveal your findings of course!". The halving stammers and chokes his way through saying that he didn't have enough time to figure it out. Korrigan is visibly mad, seeing this the halfling gets out the staff he was gifted the other day and shouts. |
| Session 11 | Korrigan, satisfied with finally knowing what is going on, takes Chenris and Mordecai to the Feywilds and guides them to what is known as the Seelie Court. A place priming with magical fey energy where all of the Arch Fey gather to discuss their plans. Its a large room and on the outskirts are seats for all the beneficiaries. Opposite the door, are 3 seats one presumable for Lorwyn, one on her right Korrigan as her herald and one her where Queen Titania - the head of the court is sat. She stands to announce that court is now in session. With that the excited hubbub subsides to give space for Queen Titania speak, She asks what they want - noting that the non-fey are only here as they are with Lorwyn's herald. Each word escaping her mouth as if it was a challenge to even cordial in the presence of someone who can challenge her authority. Korrigan starts to explain their sudden need for the court to convene but Queen Titania cuts him off as she already knows what he wants and he can't have it. Mordecai speak up and after a long back and forth, manages to convince her to consider their plea. Queen Titania doesn't care for the well being a human nation but admits it might be funny to allow them to make their plea to feywild and see who answers their call if they make a deal with her. Korrigan asks what sort of deal she would like and confesses he only wants one thing: Chaos and instability. In return for calling on the fey for support he must see for chaos than normal. Korrigan instantly agrees before the other two can question what she means by this. Queen Titania laughs as the deal has been made. She excited exclaims that the Tiefling's magic is now even more unstable and will happen more often, Mordecai's jaw drops as he starts to panic. |
| Session 10 | In the morning, Chenris is going for a walk, when he runs in to Merek The Wise. Chenris immediately tells Korrigan and not Mordecai because Mordecai is “a buzzkill”. Korrigan is furious, walks down the stairs and says "Remember me? " and takes Merek to the Feywilds in a puff of magenta smoke and laughter. Korrigan said that Merck owed him a debt as his actions resulted in his death. He asks him for his name, to which Merek declines. After trying a few times, Korrigan gives up and even gives him a gift Merek accepts, korrigan starts to manically laugh as the gift was accepted, binding Merck into a fey contract unknown to Merck. |
