IN FIELDS WHERE SILENCE WEIGHS THE SEED, And roots recall what stars forget,
He walks between both bloom and bleed Where balance holds, and debt is met. " "The Measure of Green," Verse IX

Overview

The Verdant Equilibrium is the divine realm of Eldros, a boundless golden wheat field stretching in every direction beneath a sky of soft amber light. The air is warm and still, carrying the scent of earth and grain, and every stalk sways in perfect unison, moved not by
wind, but by the steady rhythm of the world's breath. This field is not static-it shifts subtly, reforming to accommodate all forms of life and death, growth and decay, in a constant yet invisible balancing act.

At its centre towers the Axis Tree, an impossibly vast, ancient tree whose roots lie hidden beneath the golden soil and whose upper branches disappear into the clouds. It is the heart of the realm, where all forces converge and are measured. Around it, wheat gives way to ringed ecosystems- forests, rivers, meadows, and ash fields- each representing a fa cet of the natural cycle, spinning slowly like a great celestial wheel.

Eldros himself is said to appear as a solitary figure in worn clothes, often seen tending the wheat with quiet care, sometimes juggling spinning plates in the distance -each representing a principle in motion: life and death, famine and plenty, stillness and change. He does not speak often, but when he does, his words carry the gravity of natural law.

Souls who arrive in the Verdant Equilibrium are not rewarded or punished-they are assessed. Those who respected the balance in life may become caretakers, wanderers, or watchers within the field. Others are gently folded back into the cycle, transformed into grain, rain, or root-never lost, only repurposed.

The realm is tended by silent spirits known as the Platebearers, who maintain the s ubtle, shifting harmony of all things. When the balance of the mortal world is threatened, it is said that a breeze from the Verdant Equilibrium blows across the land- bringing drought to
the gluttonous, or bounty to the forgotten.

To enter Eldros 's domain is to witness the truth that all things are connected, and that every harvest, every death, every breath exists to make way for the next. It is not a place of endings, nor beginnings- but of everything in between.
