| Session 64 | Seeing Denola 's body lying on the floor, the party rushed over to her side. She had been stabbed in the back of the head as well as being gutted. Viktor performed a quick examination and found the stab wound to the back of the head was the cause of death. The wound on her stomach was done post partum. Viktor healed the majority of her wounds before using his magic to resurrect her. She awoke with a blood-curdling scream as her soul was returned to her body. Viktor tried his best to calm her down as the party all introduced themselves to her. Once she had calmed down, she explained that she had no idea who her killer could be. At one moment she was walking down the street; at another, it was dark; then she opened her eyes, and the party were all there. |
| Session 64 | Halfbie, who had been watching the slight from the rest of the party, began having doubts that staying with them would be a good idea. From their perspective, Halfbie had woken up to a group of strangers who claimed that they were his party, but they were pretty sure this wasn't true. When the rest of the group was talking to Denola and explaining the prophetic bread to her, Halfbie took the opportunity and pointed at the Greg's Bakery and shouted, "What are they doing?" before using their Misty Step ability to appear near a street corner before dashing around. When the party returned their gaze to Halfbie, they had disappeared. |
| Session 64 | Mordecai said the word Denola just loudly enough for the chef to hear and probed deep into his mind, so deep that they actually began viewing the chef's memories from the first person. Mordecai watched in horror as the chef found Denola in the streets early in the morning, jumped up, and plunged a knife into the woman's skull. Her body hit the floor hard as the chef began producing the rest of the wounds the party found on her body the next day. |
| Session 64 | In the real world, all the gregs suddenly became gravely serious after hearing Mordecai mention Denola's name. They exchanged a glance before Manaer Greg said, "On second thought, you can have a look at the oven... you can get a very close look at it..." |
| Session 63 | Halfbie and Mordecai (who had caught up with them by now) both bought their own breads and an extra for Viktor. Drache didn't want one and instead bought himself and Cas a cherry tart. The party got the following fortunes: "Be careful of the third spoon", "The rain is wet", and "Beware of Denola". |
| Session 63 | Halfbie and Drache filled out the forms to join, notably at the bottom of the form, the person who was meant to conduct their test was a woman named Denola. Halfbie also interrupted Mordecai's conversation with the bartender to give them a form, which they quickly filled out to get Halfbie out of their face. Then, after consulting Drache, Halfbie approached the recruiter and asked whether he was in charge of the OFC region or if there was someone above him. The man said there was a manager to whom he could pass along a message if needed. |
| Session 63 | Along the way, Halfbie bumped into Steve, who sat Halfbie down for a cup of tea to find out what was happening. Halfbie explained as the rest of the party caught up. Steve said that Halfbie should start telling them stories of their adventures. If the party could not finish them, then that was a clear sign that Halfbie was right. They began recounting various tales, all of which the party finished and even corrected details that had been purposely gotten wrong; however, they still struggled to believe them. |
| Session 63 | It was eventually decided that halfbie would see Terence Witherfeather, as he might have a cure for what was happening. They all began walking to the mage's guild; however, they did not get far. As they exited the black tower, they saw, in the centre of the square, the body of Denola dead. |
