Once per long rest, you may ask the compass one of the following:

- What direction leads to the nearest Planar Disturbance?
- Which way is true north?
The compass answers by rotation, pointing, or locking it's miniature planets into a pattern. it gives direction only, not distance or detail.
Recharge
Moonlight: The only way to recharge the compass is to put it out under the moon and let it absorb the moonlight. One night under the moon recharges the compass with one use.
